Jean-Daniel Carrier is a clinical psychiatrist-researcher and Medical Chief of Outpatient Services in the Department of Psychiatry at the Université de Sherbrooke. He is interested in modeling the organization of mental health and suicide prevention services from a pragmatic perspective. His research aims to develop knowledge that will enable a more integrated response to the needs of individuals and populations, through collaboration between players from a variety of disciplines and sectors.

André Côté obtained his doctorate in business administration in the healthcare field, studying management strategy as part of the joint doctoral program of Université de Montréal, McGill University, Concordia University and Université du Québec à Montréal. He has published several scientific articles on the implementation and evaluation of stakeholder networks in the health and social services sector, the transformation of complex care processes, and interactional dynamics, notably through the implementation of clinical micro-systems within a Learning Health System logic. He has also developed expertise in the field of pharmaceuticals, with a particular focus on the accessibility of cancer drugs and orphan drugs.
He is also Scientific Director of the Centre de recherche en gestion des services de santé at Université Laval, in partnership with the four healthcare establishments in the Quebec City region. In this capacity, he currently leads a team of over 40 university researchers, as well as a large number of hospital staff involved in one or more ongoing research projects. The aim of these projects is to improve quality, safety and access to care and services in the partner establishments.

Isabelle Dufour has been an assistant professor at the Université de Sherbrooke's School of Nursing since September 2023, and a FRQS Junior 1 researcher. She obtained her doctorate (PhD) in 2020 from the Université de Sherbrooke and then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at McGill University's Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health, where she specialized in the use of large-scale Quebec medico-administrative databases. Her research program aims to generate strategic knowledge on the care trajectories and transitions of elderly populations with vulnerability factors, in a real-life context in Quebec. She is particularly interested in people with loss of autonomy receiving home care, and in major neurocognitive disorders.

Jean-Baptiste Gartner is Assistant Professor of Health Services Management in the Management Department of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences at Université Laval. He completed his doctorate on the theme of care pathways, as a method for optimizing the organization of health care and services within a systems thinking and learning health systems approach. He has already published in numerous international scientific journals on care pathways and learning healthcare systems, redefining the concept of care pathways for international consensus and formulating a comprehensive methodology for implementing learning care pathways at healthcare system level. His research interests focus on the management of healthcare systems and health and social service organizations. He is developing a number of research projects in cross-functional management and the development of proximity management, with a strategic, organizational and operational approach on a territorial scale. He is particularly interested in methods and tools for analyzing, optimizing and evaluating care pathways as an intervention to improve the organization of health care and services from a systemic perspective. He is also part of a funded pan-Canadian project to co-create a national evidence base for the development, implementation and evaluation of learning healthcare systems in Canada. In addition to teaching and professional training, he has been involved in the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux' Programme National en Développement des Leaders, a mandatory program for directors of healthcare establishments in the province of Quebec.

Maude Laberge is Associate Professor in the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine at Université Laval's Faculty of Medicine. D. in Health Services Research with a specialization in Health Economics from the University of Toronto.
Ms. Laberge is interested in the economic analysis and evaluation of healthcare policies and services, with a particular focus on transformations that can improve the quality, efficiency and equity of services. Her research interests include health system performance, resource allocation and distribution, and population health outcomes. She has particular expertise in primary care and models of organization and payment for physicians and service providers.
Ms. Laberge applies economic theories and econometric tools to assess the impact of healthcare interventions, whether at the policy or institutional level. Her research also includes integrating the patient perspective to identify and better respond to heterogeneous needs and preferences.

Paolo Landa has been an assistant professor in the School of Management at Université Laval in Quebec City since September 2020. Between 2019 and 2020, he worked as a health economist in the pharmaceutical industry, and from 2016 to 2019, he was a researcher in health economics at the University of Exeter Medical School (UK).
His expertise covers operational research applied to healthcare, health economics and health technology assessment. He has worked on operating room planning, hospital optimization, vaccine cost-effectiveness analysis, neonatal care reorganization in the UK, cancer care trajectories and hospital chemotherapy planning. He has also applied business process modeling techniques in the healthcare field.
He has over ten years' experience as an analyst in the Italian healthcare system. His recent research focuses on the impact of missed care by nurses on hospital mortality, the economic valuation of hospital violence, and the use of artificial intelligence to analyze care pathways.
Paolo Landa holds a PhD in Applied Economics and Quantitative Methods, as well as a Masters in Maritime Economics and Logistics, both from the University of Genoa (Italy).

Karine Latulippe is Assistant Professor of Educational Technology in the Education Department at Université TÉLUQ, a regular researcher at the Laboratoire d'Innovation en Technologie Éducative du Québec (i-TEQ) and an associate researcher at the Institut d'intelligence artificielle appliquée. She is co-responsible for the Répertoire Interactif U-Tech (https://utech.repar.ca/), which aims to share knowledge on technology usability assessment. She holds a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from Université Laval and a master's degree in organizational management from Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. She completed her doctoral studies in educational technology at Université Laval. Her doctoral research focused on the development of inclusive digital health tools. She then pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at McGill University from 2021 to 2023, focusing on the identification of empirical indicators of various factors that need to be integrated into the design of digital tools for health justice. She has also deepened her knowledge of community mobilization and co-design approaches. She is interested in participatory design, qualitative research, the development of accessible and inclusive digital tools, patient-centered research and the learning health system.

After practicing emergency medicine in France and Quebec from 2012 to 2017, Géraldine Layani has been practicing in GMF-U at Université de Montréal since 2017. Currently at GMF-U Notre-Dame in Montreal, she is also a regular researcher at the Centre de recherche du CHUM and clinical assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine at Université de Montréal. E 2015, she completed a master's degree in clinical epidemiology at Université Laval, for which she was awarded a fellowship from the Health Canada Research Institutes. In 2020, she completed the pan-Canadian interdisciplinary program Training Research Leaders in Primary Health Care Research (TUTOR-PHC) offered by the University of Western Ontario. Since 2024, she has been a Junior 1 Research Clinician Scholar with the Fonds de Recherche du Québec en Santé. Her research aims to better understand the implementation and effects of health interventions carried out in intersectoral collaboration in primary care for and with people living with chronic diseases.

Célia Lemaire est professeure agrégée des universités en sciences de gestion à l’iaelyon de l’Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 (laboratoire Magellan), professeure associée à la Faculté des Sciences de l’Administration de l’Université Laval à Québec et membre de l’Institut Universitaire de France (IUF). Ses recherches portent sur les pratiques organisationnelles, managériales et de contrôle qui médiatisent le travail des acteurs du secteur de la santé (hôpital / perte d’autonomie liée à l’âge / personnes en situation de handicap) et façonnent les trajectoires des personnes accompagnées/soignées. Spécialiste de la mesure de la performance organisationnelle dans le secteur du handicap et du grand âge, elle a coordonné le projet de recherche interdisciplinaire ANR‐Région Grand Est intitulé INNOVEHPAD. Elle est aussi membre du board Management de la Société française de médecine d’urgence (SFMU), et du conseil scientifique de la Caisse nationale de solidarité pour l’autonomie (CNSA).

Matthew Menear is Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine at Université Laval's Faculty of Medicine, and a regular researcher at VITAM - Centre de recherche en santé durable. Frédérique Poncet, PhD, Occupational Therapist, is interested in the impact of cognitive and/or neurovisual disorders (e.g. visuo-spatial hemineglect) on social participation. Her expertise lies in (i) situational/ecological assessment of people with cognitive and/or neurovisual disorders (e.g. visuo-spatial hemineglect); she is one of the principal investigators of the Cooking Task (ecological assessment) (ii) development of innovative interventions, their documentation and measurement of their effects on activity and participation (e.g. food literacy intervention, dance therapy). She has developed skills in (i) integrated knowledge transfer (i) methodology, such as scoping reviews, participatory or collaborative action research, qualitative and mixed methods research, repeated measures and single-case research designs and (ii) program documentation and evaluation. She is particularly interested in the implementation and effects of interventions on participation in rehabilitation settings and in the community.

Balkissa Tonde holds a master's degree in applied macroeconomics (Université Thomas Sankara), as well as a bachelor's degree in economic analysis and policy (Université Norbert Zongo), and is currently a doctoral candidate in administrative sciences at Université Laval, specializing in health economics. Her thesis project focuses on “Optimizing the management of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD): Predictive modeling of the risk of hospital readmissions and evaluation of the effectiveness of post-hospitalization follow-up in primary care”.
