Conférence-Midi
The CRGSS – Centre de recherche en gestion des services de santé – FSA ULaval invites you to attend the lecture given by professors Jean-Baptiste Capgras and André Côté, titled « Deux rives, deux modèles? La médecine libérale dans les systèmes de santé publics français et québécois » which offer an in-depth comparative analysis of liberal medical practice within the public healthcare systems of France and Quebec since 1960.
Abstract : This conference, organized by the Centre de recherche en gestion des services de santé - FSA-ULaval, offers an in-depth comparative analysis of liberal medical practice within the public healthcare systems of France and Quebec since 1960. Speakers and researchers will examine the historical evolution of these models, analyze their current regulatory frameworks and critically reflect on their structural convergences and divergences. Against a backdrop of shared challenges in terms of access to care and the transformation of practices, their transatlantic study sheds light on two distinct configurations of the balance between professional autonomy and state regulation, thereby contributing to an understanding of contemporary healthcare system dynamics.
This event will take place March 20, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.The event can be held in person at the Salon Hermès (PAP-1651) or online at Zoom.
